Immaterial aims to explore bodies’ conditions in an increasingly synthetic society. The title is picked up from a type of meme subculture, characterized by a wish to transcend the physical body and the material desires tied to it. Here painting serves as a bridge to connect digital, somatic and mental landscapes into a joint imagery.
